Nigeria’s Kada Queens secured a bronze medal at the 26th Africa Cup for Club Hockey Championship in Ismailia, Egypt, after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Kenya’s Mobassa.
The team finished second in Group B, winning three out of four matches to advance to the knockout stage.
Meanwhile, fellow Nigerian clubs Delta Queens and Plateau Queens placed third and fourth in Groups B and A, respectively, in the women’s category.
