Bayelsa Queens FC Technical Adviser, Whyte Ogbonda, has issued a strong warning to their NWFL Premiership rivals, declaring that his team is fully prepared to claim the championship title this season.
The Prosperity Girls secured a third-place finish last season, with Edo Queens emerging as champions. However, Coach Whyte believes his squad is now better equipped to go all the way.
Acknowledging the competitive nature of the league, he emphasized the need to respect all opponents, including their upcoming clash against Adamawa Queens. He expressed confidence that the team’s experience from last season will help them navigate challenges effectively.
“There are no easy games in the NWFL, and I stand by that. But I believe we have everything needed to succeed and, this time, win it all,” Coach Whyte told Bayelsa Queens media.
“Last year’s Super Six in Yenagoa was a tough lesson for us, but we’ve learned and improved. We are working hard to ensure every player is fit and ready. Our focus is clear—we are determined to lift the trophy,” he added.
