Plateau United’s management has given its Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut, and his coaching staff a three-match ultimatum following a series of disappointing results.
In an official statement, the club’s Director of Media Operations, Yaksat Maklek, revealed that the decision was made after an extensive meeting on Monday, February 3, in Jos. The meeting, attended by General Manager Habila Hosea Mutla and other management staff, aimed to address the team’s recent struggles.
Mutla expressed hope that the ultimatum would ignite the necessary urgency to improve the club’s performance and meet the expectations of the club’s passionate supporters. He further stated that the decision was made after thoroughly analyzing factors contributing to the team’s poor form.
Plateau United will face Niger Tornadoes (Minna), El-Kanemi Warriors (Maiduguri), and Ikorodu City (Lagos) in their next three NPFL25 fixtures, which will be crucial in determining the future of the technical team.
