The announcement was made during the NUGA Annual Council Meeting at UNIJOS, where the NUGA National Executives paid a courtesy visit to the university’s management at the Council Chamber, Administrative Building, Naraguta Campus.

Leading the delegation, NUGA President, Professor Engr. Mohammed Bawa, explained that the decision to reschedule followed extensive consultations with key stakeholders. He emphasized that the shift was necessary to allow for the completion of critical ongoing projects at UNIJOS, which will be used for the competition.

“After thorough deliberation, the NUGA Council has agreed to move the competition to November 2025 to ensure proper preparation,” Professor Bawa stated.

Additionally, he revealed that a Memorandum of Action (MOA) will be signed between NUGA and UNIJOS to formalize the new date and ensure both parties adhere to the agreement.
