FG Vows To End ‘Miracle Examination Centres,’ Tackle Exam Malpractice

The Federal Government has announced its commitment to eradicating ‘Miracle Examination Centres’ across the country.

Speaking during a televised interview on Today, the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, emphasized that the Tinubu administration is determined to combat examination malpractice, which he described as a major issue affecting the integrity of the education system.

“We have a serious problem with examination malpractice, and we are addressing it head-on. It is unacceptable because allowing cheating discourages hardworking students,” Dr. Alausa stated.

He assured that the government would take decisive action to eliminate these fraudulent exam centres and restore credibility to the system.

Additionally, the Minister revealed plans to designate five universities as training hubs for other public institutions nationwide. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of education in Nigeria’s tertiary institutions.
