The much-anticipated draws and fixtures for the 2024/2025 Ogun State President’s Cup were held today at the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Secretariat, MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.
The competition kicks off with five rookie teams—Oduduwa FA, Grassrunner FA, MKA Int’l FC, Cosmos Global FA, and D Shack FA—competing for two qualification spots. The top two teams will then advance to face JustJohn FC in the main event.
In other fixtures, Kiraa FC is set to battle FC Ebedei, while Imperial FC awaits the winner from the rookie stage. Additionally, Gadmaj FC, Best Talent FC, Atlantic Biz FC, Dino Sporting Club, Patriots FC, and Raven Sporting Club are gearing up for their matches.
The quarterfinals promise thrilling encounters, with Stormers SC (D.C.R.U) locking horns with Gateway United FC, and Remo Stars FC taking on Beyond Limit FA (D.C).
The competition holds high stakes, as the top two teams from Ogun State will qualify to represent the state at the national level of the President’s Cup. The tournament remains a critical platform for identifying and nurturing exceptional football talent across the state.
