Robo Queens forward, Kemi Adegbuyi, was officially crowned the Naija Women Football (NWF) Awards Player of the Week on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.
The award, proudly sponsored by Prostar Sports International, showcases the company’s commitment to supporting excellence in women’s football in Nigeria.

Adegbuyi earned the accolade for her exceptional performance in the opening week of the 2025 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership season. She starred in Robo Queens’ 5-1 victory over Benue Queens at the Lafia Stadium, contributing a goal and two assists to secure the award.
During the ceremony, she was presented with an award plaque, a Prostar Evolution match ball, and a custom T-shirt courtesy of Prostar Sports International.
Her brilliance continued in Week 2, where she provided the decisive assist in Robo Queens’ 2-1 victory over Adamawa Queens.
Speaking after receiving the award, Adegbuyi expressed her gratitude:
