Adarabioyo, Madueke Shine in Chelsea’s 3-1 Victory Over Wolves

Nigeria’s Tosin Adarabioyo and Noni Madueke played very important roles yesterday January 20, 2025, as Chelsea ended a five-match Premier League winless streak by defeating Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 at Stamford Bridge.

Adarabioyo, born in Manchester to Nigerian parents, opened the scoring in the 26th minute, marking his first goal for Chelsea since joining from Fulham.

Madueke, hailing from Barnet, London, with Nigerian heritage, sealed the victory with a goal in the 65th minute, showcasing his attacking prowess.

Both players are eligible to represent Nigeria internationally.Adarabioyo has represented England at various youth levels but remains on the radar of Nigeria’s national team.

Madueke has progressed through England’s youth system and made his senior debut for the England national team on September 10, 2024, in a UEFA Nations League match against Finland.
