NFF to Launch CAF B-License Coaching Course in April 2025

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced plans to organize a four-month CAF B-License Coaching Course aimed at equipping Nigerian coaches with modern techniques to handle current and future football challenges.

The programme, open to both male and female coaches, is scheduled to run from 7th April to 25th August 2025.

NFF Technical Director, Augustine Eguavoen, described the initiative as a vital step in the federation’s strategy to improve the capacity of coaches across the nation.

The course will be delivered in modules and is designed for coaches who meet specific eligibility requirements.

Applicants must possess a CAF C-License certificate with at least two years of active use, basic computer skills, a valid Gmail account, and the ability to read and write in English.

Additionally, candidates must submit a medical certificate confirming their physical and mental fitness.

Only 25 participants will be admitted, and a fee of N500,000 must be paid by 31st March 2025 after passing a pre-course assessment.

This initiative follows the NFF’s success in organizing a CAF C-License course exclusively for women in 2024, which featured 30 participants, including former Nigerian international players.

The federation continues to emphasize inclusivity and development in Nigerian football.
