The journey toward hosting the 14th Africa Arm wrestling Championship in Nigeria gained significant momentum after an engaging arm wrestling session between the President of the Nigeria Arm wrestling Federation, Engr. Samuel Jackson, and the National Sports Commission (NSC) Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko.
Following the friendly session, Mallam Dikko formally declared his support for the championship, scheduled to take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium velodrome from July 23 to 27, 2025.
