The Nationwide League One (NLO) has named Muzammil Dalha Yola as its new Media Representative for North-West Nigeria, succeeding Abdulgafar Oladimeji, who has held the role since 2023.
Yola, who serves as the Assistant Secretary of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Kano State Chapter, was officially announced as the new representative via a statement released by the NLO Secretariat across its media platforms.
Olushola Ogunnowo, the Chief Operating Officer of the NLO, confirmed the appointment, highlighting Yola’s responsibility to collaborate with the NLO Communication Director, Tunde Shamsudeen.
Yola’s role involves implementing media strategies and fostering communication with stakeholders, including football clubs and academies, across Kano and the neighboring states of Jigawa, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara.
Additionally, Yola will oversee media activities for the Nationwide League One Division 1, the NLO U19 Youth League, and other championships within the zone, reflecting the league’s commitment to spotlighting young football talents.
The COO encouraged Yola to leverage his wealth of experience as the league gears up for its 2025 football season, set to begin in the first quarter of the year

Meanwhile, the NLO expressed its gratitude to Abdulgafar Oladimeji for his significant contributions over the past two seasons and extended best wishes for his future endeavors.
