Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday presided over the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Bola Okikiolu Ighile as the Chairman of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LSIEC).
The ceremony, confirmed by Jubril Gawat, the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, also saw the induction of five commissioners tasked with overseeing the upcoming Local Government elections in the state.
The newly inaugurated LSIEC officials are:
1. Chairman: Justice Bola Okikiolu Ighile
2. Commissioner: Mr. Samson Ajibade
3. Commissioner: Akin Durojaiye Oluwo
4. Commissioner: Dr. Olumide Olusola Metilelu
5. Commissioner: Mr. Abeeb Dapo Aileru
6. Commissioner: Hon. Oladele Adekanye
