The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Desmond Amadin Enabulele, has announced several strategic appointments to strengthen the management and technical teams of the state-owned football clubs, Bendel Insurance FC and Edo Queens FC.

Key appointments include Coach Greg Ikhenoba as the substantive Head Coach of Bendel Insurance FC, following his commendable performance in leading the team out of relegation. Mr. Austin Iyamu takes over as the Technical Director, while Peter Obanor assumes the role of Team Manager.
For Edo Queens FC, Coach Rollanson Aituairi Odeh has been appointed as the General Manager. Additionally, Mr. Idemudia Osigbemen will serve as Bendel Insurance FC’s Scouting Coach, and Mr. Anthony Ipogah will oversee player scouting for Edo Queens. Princess Omoyemwen Adeyinka Afolabi has been named the Welfare Officer for Edo Queens.
These appointments, including the replacement of Coach Monday Odigie’s vacant role with Austin Iyamu, are part of the Commission’s strategic vision to enhance the effective management of the clubs.
