NWFL 2024/25: Confluence Queens Set To Host Home Games At PAAU Stadium, Anyigba

Confluence Queens FC of Lokoja will now play their home matches at the Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) Stadium in Anyigba, Kogi State, for the 2024/2025 NWFL Premiership season.

This development was confirmed by the club’s chairman, Hon. Abdulmalik Isah, during a media briefing in Lokoja. According to him, the agreement with PAAU management was necessary due to ongoing renovations at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium, which does not currently meet NWFL standards.

Hon. Isah expressed optimism that under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the sports sector in Kogi State will experience significant improvement.

The 2024/2025 NWFL season kicks off on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, with Confluence Queens set to face Remo Stars Ladies in their opening match.
