The Chairman of Abia Warriors Football Club, Coach John Sam Obuh, has expressed deep sympathy for Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu, the First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), following a violent armed robbery attack at his residence in Abuja.

On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, armed robbers stormed Chief Anyansi Agwu’s home in Gwarinpa Estate, inflicting injuries on the former Chairman of Enyimba Football Club and making away with valuable possessions.
Reacting to the incident, Coach Obuh extended his condolences and best wishes to Chief Anyansi Agwu for a speedy recovery.
“My thoughts and prayers are with my friend and brother, Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu, who was attacked at his home in Abuja by men of the underworld. It was indeed a sad one. I can imagine the emotional trauma he and his family have gone through. I therefore wish him a quick recovery,” Obuh stated.
The Abia Warriors boss also urged the Nigeria Police to intensify efforts in apprehending the perpetrators and ensuring justice is served.
This incident has sparked widespread calls for enhanced security measures to prevent similar occurrences and safeguard lives and property across the country.
