Barau Football Club has officially suspended Salisu Yusuf from his position as Technical Adviser with immediate effect.
The decision, which was announced after a management meeting, marks a significant change in the club’s technical leadership.

During the meeting, the club’s management expressed their gratitude for Yusuf’s contributions, particularly his role in leading the team through the 2024/2025 Nigerian National League (NNL) season.
Yusuf’s efforts were acknowledged as instrumental in maintaining the team’s competitive edge during his tenure.
In the wake of this decision, Chief Coach Rabi’u Tata has been appointed as the interim Technical Adviser. He will be tasked with leading the team forward during this transitional period.
Tata will be supported by his assistant as they work collaboratively to ensure the club’s continued success on and off the pitch.
The management emphasized their commitment to the team’s development and performance, stating that the changes were made in the best interest of the club’s future. Fans are expected to rally behind the new leadership team as they steer the club through the remainder of the season.
