Rangers’ Nigerienne attacking sensation, Zeidine Ousmane has earned a call up to the ‘Menas’ of Niger for a match day 6 AFCON qualifier against the ‘Pharoes’ of Egypt scheduled for March 23, 2019 in Niamey.
A highly elated Zeidine said that the call up was most needed at the time it came and he would make great use of it to enhance his chances in the Nigerian top side, Rangers International F.C.
“I am very happy with the invitation. It shows that my game is been monitored and I hope to give my very best at training to earn a starting place in the AFCON qualifier against Egypt in Niamey. Also, this is an opportunity for me to really show my stuff and keep my place in Rangers,” stated the former junior Niger international.
Zeidine, who has four senior international caps for the West African country had also featured fourteen times at the U-17 level and ten times for U-20 level for his country, further said, “I sincerely hope to make my fifth appearance for my country against Egypt. It won’t be an easy match but we believe that with determination we shall get the result expected of us.”
The former Heartland ball juggler, who missed joining his teammates to Ouagadougou for a Total Confederation cup 2018/2019 encounter is listed for this dead rubber game against Egypt who drubbed them 6-0 in their first meeting in Cairo and the result will have no meaning on the ‘Mena’s qualification for Egypt 2019.
