As the year 2024 gradually winds down, the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN), led by Tijani Babangida, has called for harmony amongst the various players’ unions bodies in Nigeria, for the purpose of presenting a common formidable front that can truly represent the interest and push for the rights of players in Nigeria.
The ex-Nigeria international player, Tijani Babaginda MON, said, “it is high time we bury our differences and personal interest and focus more on the pursuit of the union objectives, which is primarily centered on what will benefit Nigeria players and safeguard their future.”
“Going ahead into the new year, PFAN board of trustees, shall be working out modalities to bring all aggrieved persons into the union.
“We need to champion a new course for the union that forcuses on objectives that are issues based with the overall goal of making lots of Nigeria professional footballers better, in line with global best practices,” the former Nigeria and Ajax Amsterdam star, added.
