The management of Buruj Sports Academy are making frantic efforts to expose more young talents in international tournaments this year but support from well meaning Nigerians is being solicited for so as to actualise this lofty aim.
The Lagos-based academy are the defending champions of English Super Cup which holds annually in Manchester, the United Kingdom, just as they are billed to feature in other world-class competitions like the TTD Super Cup in Dubai, the Spanish Cup in Spain and Welsh Super Cup in Cardiff, Wales, amongst others.
Prominent Nigerians like Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, the General Overseer of Love Of Christ Generation Church, London, and the current Chairman of Shomolu Local Government, Honourable Salawu AbdulHamed (Dullar) have assisted the academy in the past and now that they are set for new heights, more of such will be needed to meet the financial demands, travel logistics and of course the deadline set by the organisers.
It is in this light that the management are calling for support from individuals and corporate organisations so that young talents can be helped to fulfil their dreams of playing football where they can be watched and scouted by soccer agents for contracts if they can excel.
Meanwhile, registration of players is still ongoing as there are few more slots to be filled to complete the squad.
