The Lagos Supremacy Cup 2024 has once again delivered on its promise to identify and elevate grassroots football talents to the global stage.

Spearheaded by the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) Chairman, Hajji Gafar Olawale Liameed, the tournament has achieved a historic milestone: 24 players from various grassroots clubs have been selected for international trials.

Speaking about this landmark achievement, Hajji Gafar expressed his satisfaction, saying, “We have a definitive objective. Our substantial investment in scouting reflects our commitment to fostering development.

This year, we surpassed our expectations, with 24 players chosen from a pool of 200 boys—an achievement that sets a new standard for West Africa.”

These young talents, representing clubs such as Beyond Limits, Dino SC, Broad City, and more, are poised to join clubs across Europe and South America. Their hard work, skill, and passion have earned them opportunities to shine on a global platform.
