A budding football talent based in Nasarawa State, Momour Sani has given a pass mark to organisers of this year’s Lagos Supremacy Cup.
Sports247.ng was live on the spot, as the competition opened in grand style at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos Island and Momour used that opportunity to speak up.
Momour Sani, an attacking midfielder with Broad FC, said after his team’s opening game that he tried to put up his best in the encounter that turned out to be a very dramatic tie.
He added, “I tried my best in this match, but I need to put in more effort. I need to do more on each match.”
He then spoke about the competition’s standard, especially with clubs like 36 Lion, Ikorodu City and Beyond Limit FA in the contest.
“The competition is very exciting and the organisers are doing well.
“Everything they are doing is good,” Momour declared, while also stating his targets with Broad City FC.
“I just want my teammates to keep on moving, push more, step up their efforts and motivate one another.
“Let’s just keep trying our best and see if we can win the cup on the last day,” Momour enthused.
