In the male singles category, Adefolami Hamid of Fountain University clinched the Gold medal with his stunning agility and tactical brilliance, solidifying his place as a standout athlete.

Victor Akintunde from Redeemers University secured Silver, demonstrating exceptional grit, while Daniel Adewoyin (OAU) and Aliu Akande (OSCOTECH) took home the Bronze medals.

The female singles matches were equally captivating, with Taiwo Ayobami of OAU dominating the court to win Gold.

Her commanding performance left a lasting impression on the audience. Yemisi Ogunniyi from Osun State Polytechnic,

Iree earned the Silver, while Rosemary Babalola (UNILESA) and Boluwatife Ogunleye (Fountain University) shared the Bronze.

In doubles play, OAU’s prowess was evident. The male duo, Daniel Adewoyin and Omobolanle Amin, seized the Gold with impeccable coordination.

In the female doubles, Ayobami Taiwo and Oyenuga Taiwo of OAU showcased their synergy to also claim Gold, underlining the university’s supremacy.

Redeemers University and Fountain University also shone, securing medals and demonstrating the region’s deepening pool of table tennis talent.
