NNL Pre-season Seminar: Renowned Ref Chukwudi Chukwujekwu Joins Resource Persons

As the Nigerian National League (NNL) gears up for its 2024/2025 season, preparations are underway with a pre-season seminar scheduled to take place from October 28th to 30th, 2024, at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State.

In a bid to ensure the event delivers the best insights to participants, renowned retired FIFA badged referee, Chukwudi Chukwujekwu, has been added to the list of resource persons.

Chukwujekwu, who serves as the Head Technical Instructor for referees and assistant referees at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), will share his wealth of experience with coaches and media officers during the seminar.

NNL Chairman George Aluo highlighted the importance of involving experts like Chukwujekwu to ensure participants receive top-tier guidance as they prepare for the new season.

“We decided to include renowned referee, Chukwudi Chukwujekwu as one of the resource persons because he is highly experienced and the participants will benefit immensely from his wide football knowledge.

“You’re aware that we’re organising this seminar to ensure that coaches and media officers are tutored on what is expected of them when the 2024/2025 season kicks off and to get it right like we did last year, we need to get very experienced resource persons to lecture the participants and that’s why we’re going for the best,” he stressed.

Chukwujekwu expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and promised to deliver valuable insights to the attendees.

Other notable figures contributing to the seminar include former Super Eagles Assistant Coach Fatai Amoo, Alphonsus Dike, and media professionals Tony Ubani, John Joshua Akanji, and Oluchi Tobex Tobechukwu.

This initiative is designed to enhance the knowledge of coaches and media officers, ensuring the upcoming season begins smoothly, just as last year’s successful pre-season seminar did.
