International Friendlies: Ajibade, Nnadozie Among 25 Super Falcons Called for Algeria Double-header

Super Falcons’ head Coach, Justine Madugu has invited 25 players, including captain Rasheedat Ajibade and top goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, for two international friendly matches against Algeria’s national women’s team.

The matches will take place at Lagos’ Mobolaji Johnson Arena on the 26th and 29th of October, marking the first time in three years that the Super Falcons will play friendlies on home soil.

The roster features a blend of overseas-based players and home-grown talents from clubs like Edo Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, and Bayelsa Queens.

Notable call-ups include Turkey-based defender Oluwatosin Demehin, Spain-based forward Gift Monday, and emerging stars from Nigeria’s U20 Falconets team.

This will also be the Falcons’ first international outing under Madugu since Randy Waldrum’s departure following the Olympic qualifiers in France earlier this year.

The matches have been sanctioned by CAF and will be overseen by officials from Benin Republic. The Algerian delegation is expected to arrive in Lagos by midweek.
