Nigeria champions and representative in the 2024 CAF Women Champions League has been pitted in group B, same group as Mamelodi Sundowns, the competition reigning champions, Sports247 reports.
In the draws which was made this afternoon for the group stage of the
competition in Morocco, the venue of this year’s edition also got drawn alongside Tutankhamun of Egypt and CBE FC of Ethiopia in Group B.

Edo Queens will begin their campaign in the finals against CBE FC of Ethiopia followed by Tutankhamun of Egypt face off before wrapping up the group stage with Mamelodi Sundowns the 2023 champions.
The top two teams in the group will make into the semi finals and will proceed to face the top two teams in group A.
Group A has AS FAR of Morocco, the 2023 runner up and University of Western Cape of South Africa.
Other teams in group A are Aigles de la Medina of Senegal and TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo in Group A.
The 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League finals will kick off on the 9th and end on 23rd of November in Morocco.
Mamelodi Sundowns are the most successful team in the competition having two of the last three editions while Edo Queens will be attempting to become the first Nigerian club side to win the competition since inception in 2021
