In a dominant display at the Remo Stars International Stadium in Ikenne, Remo Stars FC delivered a decisive 3-0 defeat to Nasarawa United in Week 6 of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
This victory saw the Sky Blues return to the top of the table with 15 points, leaving no doubt about their superiority over the Solid Miners.
From the onset, it was clear that Remo Stars were determined to send a strong message. The first half was a tight affair, with both teams testing each other’s defenses. However, it was in the second half that the Sky Blues turned up the heat, proving why they are a force to be reckoned with this season.
Sikiru Alimi broke the deadlock in the 50th minute, skillfully guiding the ball past the Nasarawa goalkeeper to give the home side the lead. The goal sent the fans into a frenzy, and it was clear that more was to come.
Just nine minutes later, Stanley Joseph doubled the lead with a clinical finish, capitalizing on a defensive error from the visitors.
