The Super Eagles Team B, otherwise known as CHAN Eagles have been drawn against their Ghanaian counterparts at the 2024 Championship for African Nations ( CHAN) draws held on Wednesday by CAF in continuation of the Jollof rivalry between the two regional football power, Sports247 reports.
According to the fixture released by Confederation of African Football, CAF, after the draws, the Super Eagles will travel to Ghana for the first leg of the encounter between December 20-22, 2024 and host the second leg in Nigeria between December 27 -29 2024.

The winner of the match over the two legs will qualify for the 2024 CHAN which is due to hold in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda early 2025.
A total of 16 teams will qualify for the main tournament as 3 teams each will qualify the CAF’s five zones with the Central African Zone having four teams due to the three places secured by the three hosts.
CAF also declared a sum of two millions dollars will be won by the winner.
The Super Eagles missed out on the last CHAN competition but finished second in the 2018 edition after winning the Bronze in the 2014 edition.
The Super Eagles B 2024 class will be coached by the duo of Daniel Ogunmodede and Fidelis Ilechukwu
