Adams Should Be in Super Eagles Ahead of Boniface, Says Coach Abdallah

Montpellier forward Akor Adams should be considered for the Super Eagles ahead of Victor Boniface, according to U-17 and U-20 scout Hassan Abdallah.

In a recent interview with Brila FM, Abdallah emphasized Adams’ physicality and impact on the field as key reasons for his preference.

“I scouted Victor Boniface and Akor Adams. Boniface is good because of his height, ball-holding ability, and dribbling, which is why I converted him into a point man,” Abdallah explained.

“Akor, on the other hand, has more strength than Boniface. He can bully defenders, but his intelligence is 50-50.”

Abdallah elaborated on the strategic advantage of Adams in matches, highlighting his ability to keep central defenders on their toes.

“When Akor is played between central defenders, they don’t move forward; they have to wait. I’ve expected them to invite him to the national team because he has been doing well.”

This endorsement comes as the Super Eagles prepare for crucial AFCON qualifiers, where the choice of forwards will play a significant role in the team’s success.

Both Adams and Boniface have shown great potential, but Abdallah believes Adams’ physical prowess makes him a more suitable candidate for the national squad at this time.
