Nigerian-born USA collegiate basketball talent, Aidan Igiehon has been included in the roster for this year’s Allen Iverson Roundball Classic.
Sports247.ng learnt that Igiehon is listed alongside fellow-Louisville signing, Samuel Williamson, among 24 players for the 2019 Classic on Thursday.
Igiehon (aka Irish Hulk) is a consensus four-star recruit and a finalist for New York’s Mr. Basketball award.
The 2019 Iverson Classic events will tip off on Wednesday April 24th, 2019 with The Iverson Games, with the main match on Friday.
In just three years, the event has already solidified itself as one of the top All-American games in the country.
It includes a gauntlet of events including a Dunk Contest, 3 Point Shootout, 1-on-1 match-ups and more.
This year’s Classic will also involve a a glimpse of five-star recruit, C.J. Walker, who signed with Oregon in November.
Wlaker, who is rated the future of the Oregon men’s basketball program, and potentially their best-ever recruiting class, will showcase his talents at the 2019 Iverson Classic in April.
The 6-foot-8 forward out of Oak Ridge High School will play on Team Honor; while Cole Anthony, the nation’s No. 1 point guard, and five-star guard-forward Cassius Stanley, who Oregon is still awaiting word on, will play for Team Loyalty.
