2024 1X Bet Cup winning coach, Nathaniel Olagunju has shared the secret to his team, FC Bethel’s success at the community cup competition which ended in Lagos Thursday, 16 September 2024.

FC Bethel defeated Gunners Link FC 2-1 in the final of the competition played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena to cart away the giant trophy along a cash prize of ten million naira from the organiser for their effort.
In the post match interview, Nathaniel Olagunju told www.sports247.ng attributed their victory to having a good knowledge of their opponent and exploited their weakness to win the difficult game and the trophy.
” We know them very well. I mean our opponent, they are a good side team, but in terms of the philosophy of the game we know we are higher than them, and the speed, the intensity. That’s one of the tactics we use against them”, Nathaniel affirmed .
” We make sure we raise the intensity. In the first half of the game, they were unable to actually stop us. So we know in the second half we are going to have a good game.”

The coach who was also named the best coach of the tournament said it was a great honour to win the competition.
” It’s a great honor to have won the competition 1xbet and I want to give God all the thanks because he has always been there for us and our hard work brought us far to become the champion” said Olagunju.
FC Bethel were invincible in the 2024 1X Bet Cup competition, to give credence for emerging as the winner of the competition.
In almost a sweep of the awards , FC Bethel won the best team goal scored award , they also have the Most Valuable Player, Caleb Okereke and the Top Scorer, Ikechukwu Nwannah in their midst.
