Victor Osimhen has expressed his satisfaction with his new teammates at Galatasaray, highlighting the positive relationship he shares with fellow strikers Mauro Icardi, Michy Batshuayi, and Burak Yilmaz.
Osimhen, who joined the Istanbul giants in the summer, has started three matches, including Wednesday night’s UEFA Europa League clash against PAOK Thessaloniki.
The Nigerian striker is expected to form a formidable partnership with Icardi, the club’s top scorer from last season.
Speaking on the club’s official website, Osimhen emphasized the collaborative spirit among the forwards.
“We have a very good relationship with Mauro Icardi. He is also a leader. Michy Batshuayi is a very good character,” Osimhen said.
The 24-year-old striker stressed the importance of team unity over individual rivalry, stating that all the strikers are ready to contribute when called upon.
“I am very happy to be at Galatasaray. We help each other as a team. If I am not there, they are there. We will continue to win as a team,” he added.
With Galatasaray boasting a fearsome attack, Osimhen’s arrival has added even more firepower to Okan Buruk’s side as they aim for success both domestically and in Europe.
