UFC fighter, Israel Adesanya has backed Anthony Joshua to defeat Daniel Dubois in the IBF World Title fight slated for tonight in London by staking ten thousand dollars on Anthony Joshua’s victory, Sports247 reports.
Coming off four straights wins after suffering two back to back defeats in the hands of Alexander Usyk , Anthony Joshua is the favourite as he challenges Daniel Dubois for the IBF World Title but a defiant Dubois Daniel believes it’s not time to prove he to legitimise the title which was vacated by Alexander Usyk which warranted his step up from Interim to substantive IBF champions without throwing a punch .
Israel Adesanya decided to go with the bookmakers’ choice by waging 10k dollars for Joshua’s victory between 10 to 12 rounds which is about 5 odds .
Adesanya revealed this on Friday in an Instagram post where he shared the picture of his stake in the fight, which expected return on the stake is 50,000 dollars if the fight goes the way Anthony Joshua between round 10 and 12.
Adesanya posted his wager card and added “Dubois, Daniel – Joshua, Anthony.”
