Team Kebbi star girl of the Fives, Aliyu Nene Venus has said that her two bronzes in the event will spur for greater things in the future and in her sports career, Sports 247 reports.
Nene Venus has put behind her the disappointment of not winning the Gold medals in the Fives at the 2024 National Youth Games in Asaba and rather picks positives from the event .

Venus who is making her debut appearance in the games, won two bronze medals in the singles and doubles of the event.
In an exclusive chat, Nene Venus says missing out on the gold and silver, she said it will only encourage her to get better next time.
” I am glad I came out with the medals, at least I won something, it will go back and prepare better next year.” Nana Venus said.
The team Kebbi star girl speaks further : ” It’s an encouragement for me to put in more effort and help my sporting career to get better, because there are people that won silver and gold , they don’t have two heads”.
Nene used the occasion to thank the Kebbi State Government for their efforts in ensuring the State Athletes’ were prepared and sent to the games .
” I am really grateful to the State Government for sponsoring our trips , giving us all the support to come here all the way from Benin Kebbi to Delta State to compete, I really appreciate the opportunity”. Thankful Nene said.
