Asaba 2024: My Three Medals In Gymnastics Means A Lot To Me Says Abolaji Of Ogun State

Abdul Razak Abdul Rahman Abolaji of Ogun State Says winning two Gold medals and one Bronze medal in gymnastics at the 2024 National Youth Games in Asaba means a lot to him, Sports 247 reports.

Abolaji won three medals himself at this year’s games, two gold medals for artistic gymnastics and best overall gymnasts and one bronze medal for pommel horse.

An excited Abolaji could not hide his excitement as he told our correspondence exclusively what the medals meant to him having managed only one medal in power tumbling at the 2923 edition.

“I only won a medal last year, so I am happy to win three medals this year, the medals mean a lot to me because I prepared for it”, said Abolaji

He says he was determined to win from the start and worked very hard to win the medals so he is satisfied with the result he got.

When quizzed about his plans for Gymnastics in the future, Abolaji said he ” still wants to win more medals in the sports in the future because it is good to win more medals”.

The 2024 National Youth Games continues in Asaba and it will come to an end on Thursday, 19 September 2024
