In an exciting development, African football legend Kanu Nwankwo has been named the Global Ambassador for Vodacom, one of the world’s leading communication companies.
Affectionately known as “Papilo” to his millions of fans, Kanu’s appointment is seen as a major coup for Vodacom, as the former Arsenal star will now feature in various promotional activities globally.

Kanu, who captured the hearts of many by winning Olympic gold with Nigeria’s Dream Team at Atlanta ‘96, is widely regarded as one of Africa’s most decorated footballers.
His illustrious career saw him lift the UEFA Champions League trophy with Ajax and secure Premier League titles with Arsenal.
Today, he serves as the Chairman of Enyimba Football Club and continues to make significant contributions to football and philanthropy through his Kanu Heart Foundation.

Vodacom’s Executive Head in Tanzania, Mr. Philip, and Hilda Bujiku, praised the partnership, highlighting Kanu’s legendary status.
