Victor Osimhen Headlines FIFA Campaign Against Racism

Victor Osimhen has been chosen to headline FIFA’s latest campaign against racism. As part of this initiative, a global crossed arms gesture will be introduced at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup™ in Colombia.

This gesture empowers players to take a stand against racist abuse, reinforcing FIFA’s commitment to eradicating discrimination from football.

Meanwhile, Osimhen’s transfer saga has taken a dramatic turn. Despite intense speculation linking him with moves to Chelsea and Al Hilal, both deals have collapsed. Chelsea’s pursuit of the Nigerian striker fell through due to disagreements over salary and transfer fees. Napoli’s high demands, reportedly around €130 million, proved to be a stumbling block. Similarly, a potential move to Al Hilal did not materialize, leaving Osimhen to remain with Napoli.

Osimhen, who currently earns €11 million per year at Napoli, had previously accepted personal terms with PSG, but that deal also failed to come to fruition due to Napoli’s firm stance. Chelsea’s interest persisted until the final hours of the transfer window, but the Premier League club was unwilling to meet Napoli’s financial expectations.

As the transfer window closes, Osimhen’s focus will now be on leading Napoli’s attack in the upcoming season. His commitment to both his club and the fight against racism highlights his influence both on and off the pitch.
