Leicester City’s Wilfried Ndidi opened his goal-scoring account for the season in style during a resounding 4-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

The Foxes dominated the encounter from the outset, but it was Ghanaian international Jordan Ayew who broke the deadlock just before halftime with a superb strike, assisted by Harry Winks. The goal set the tone for a comfortable night for the Premier League side.
