Napoli and Osimhen are still trying to find a solution to the transfer saga that has dragged on throughout the summer.

Osimhen has attracted top European clubs with his impressive displays for Napoli, registering 76 goals and 18 assists in 136 appearances.

The interest from Saudi clubs signifies the increasing competition for talent, as these leagues invest heavily to attract top players.

However, for Osimhen, the allure of playing in Europe, particularly in the top five leagues, remains unparalleled.

Before the end of last season, Napoli already had an agreement with the Super Eagles star to let him leave the club this summer. Arsenal, Chelsea, and PSG appear to be the frontrunners for the transfer, but nothing concrete has been reached.

Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal has also been in the mix, but Osimhen rejected them. According to a report on Sunday night, Al Ahli sent a bid of around $65-€70 million, and the club accepted it.

He had previously agreed on personal terms with PSG, but the transfer cooled off as the French champions have not agreed on a fee with Napoli.

The transfer window closes in four days, and all the parties involved in Osimhen’s transfer will have to move quickly to seal the deal.

Victor Osimhen’s decision to reject a Saudi club in favour of pursuing opportunities in top European leagues showcases his ambition and commitment to excelling in top-tier football.
