The directive, issued by Elder Victor Idowu, the Secretary of OGSFA, is part of a broader initiative to sanitize the coaching profession in collaboration with the Ogun State Football Coaches Association of Nigeria.

Elder Victor Idowu emphasized the importance of compliance, stating, “We urge all practicing football coaches to ensure they get certified and licensed by OGSFA.

The board of OGSFA will not recognize any coach who is not certified and licensed by the board.” This new policy underscores the importance of ensuring that all practicing football coaches in Ogun State are adequately qualified and formally recognized by the governing body.

The OGSFA has urged all coaches to comply with this regulation, emphasizing that as law-abiding citizens, it is imperative to do the needful by obtaining the necessary certifications and licenses.

For further information and guidance on the certification process, coaches are advised to contact the OGSFA Secretariat directly.
