The Olu of Warri, His Royal Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, is set to celebrate his coronation anniversary with a grand football novelty match on August 17th, 2024, at the historic Nana College in Warri.

This event, now in its third edition, promises to be even more entertaining and engaging than its successful predecessors, offering a day filled with excitement for the people of Delta State.
Prince Godstime Emiko, the visionary behind this initiative and the event’s primary organizer, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming match, noting the significance it holds for the community.

The match will feature over 60 players from Delta State, a mix of retired professionals and sports administrators, coming together in friendly competition.
The teams, dubbed as playing “against borders,” symbolize the unity and camaraderie that transcends regional boundaries, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the Olu’s reign.
