Cycling will be making its first ever appearance as an Olympics sports for Nigeria at the Paris 2024 Olympics courtesy, sports247.ng
Ese Ukpeseraye, who will be debuting in the event for Nigeria on Sunday, is asking Nigerians for their support as she confirmed her readiness for the events.
The 25 year old qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics by earning 250 points at the 19th Confederation of African Cycling (CAC) Road Championships in Accra, Ghana, where she won the gold medal in the Elite Women’s Road Race.
In anticipation of her first ever outing at the Olympics, she confirmed her readiness and promised to give all and ask Nigerians for support while looking to God for strength to go all the way

The Delta State born Cyclists will be Participating in the Road Race, Track and Individual Spirits as Nigeria’s only representative in the event.
Ese’s historic moment will arrive on Sunday, August 4, in the road race event by 1 pm.
She will also feature at the Track Event on Wednesday, August 7 2024 and in the Individual Sprint on Friday August 9, 2024.
Ese Ukpeseraye had a one-year team training course in Spain in getting ready and preparing for the events.
