The Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kano State command’s team popularly known as the ‘MARWA Boys’, are making a strong showing at the 2nd Paramilitary Sports Competition going on in Kano.

The NDLEA are currently second in group B which consists of ICPC, Federal Fire Service, 3rd Brigade Nigerian Army BUKAVU Barracks, and Nigeria Vigilante Group.
The anti- Narcotic agency are due to increase their points haul later today when they face the Federal Fire Service team at the Nigeria Air Force base playing ground in Kano.
Meanwhile the team received a moral boost ahead of the game as Barau Football Club owner Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin donated a set of Jerseys to the ” Marwa Boys ” as a way of encouraging them to compete and strive for top honors in the competition, according to a statement signed by the agency PRO Kano Command, Sadiq Muhammad Maigatari.
NDLEA has a total of four points having drawn their first match against 3rd Brigade Nigerian Army BUKAVU Barracks, 1-1.
In the second match, the walkover ICPC, which fetched them three goals and three points.
The competition is being organised by the Kano State Sports Commission to Forster cooperation and aid effectiveness of the various military and paramilitary in the residence in the state.
