In a significant milestone for Talently Football Academy, OBI CHINONSO JEREMIAH has signed his first professional contract with Finnish club FC Jazz Pori.

This marks a momentous occasion for the academy, which recently concluded its 1st Edition scouting program aimed at discovering and nurturing young football talents.
The journey began last October during Talently Football Academy’s inaugural scouting event. Organized by former Nigerian international Brown Ayodeji, the program attracted scouts and agents from across Europe, including a notable agent from Holland. It was during this event that Jeremiah caught the eye of the scouts, setting the stage for his professional career.
Following the scouting program, Jeremiah was introduced to FC Jazz Pori. The Finnish club extended an invitation, leading to a successful visa application and subsequent travel for trials last month. Jeremiah impressed the club during his trial period, culminating in today’s contract signing and unveiling.
“This is a proud moment for Talently Football Academy and a testament to our commitment to developing young talents,” said Brown Ayodeji, the ex-international spearheading the initiative. “Our goal is to create opportunities for talented players to showcase their skills and secure professional contracts abroad. Jeremiah’s success is just the beginning.”
The Talently Football Academy, founded to give back to the community and foster new football talents, conducts annual scouting programs. The first edition, which facilitated Jeremiah’s journey to professional football, was followed by a second edition held from May 27th to 29th this year. Plans are already underway for future editions, with the academy eager to continue its mission of identifying and promoting exceptional players.
Brown Ayodeji emphasized the academy’s ongoing commitment to these scouting programs, viewing them as a bridge to connect talented Nigerian players with international opportunities. “This initiative is a way for me to give back to football and Nigeria,” Ayodeji remarked. “We aim to make these programs better each year and help more players achieve their dreams.”
