The Nigeria Youth Male League (NYML) and the Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) Youth League Division Two have announced that the 2024 season will commence on July 13, 2024.
This was confirmed in a statement issued on June 27, 2024, by Olushola Ogunnowo, the Chief Operating Officer of the NLO, informing all state Football Associations and clubs of the upcoming start date.
Key Guidelines for Player Registration and Licensing
Online Registration

– Existing users should log in with their registered email and password. New clubs must follow the website’s steps to complete their registration.
Player Licenses
– Player licenses must be typed and signed by both the player and club officials. Handwritten licenses or any alterations will not be accepted.
– All Division Two players must be under 19 years of age.
Documentation
– Clubs must provide valid birth certificates and National Identification Numbers (NIN) for all players.
– Falsification of age or other personal data will lead to prosecution for both the player and the club.
Fixture Groupings
– Fixture groupings will be released based on registered clubs as of June 17, 2024, to ensure timely and accurate preparation.
License Processing
– Player licenses must be processed at the NLO Secretariat. Processing at any other center is prohibited.
Enforcement and Compliance
The NLO emphasized that clubs violating any regulations will face serious consequences, ensuring integrity and fairness throughout the season.
