Broad City FC after 1-0 their loss to Team Lagos in a friendly game, have further tried to aid their team preparations for upcoming competitions in a friendly game against Remo Stars U19 that saw a chunk of goals fly in, Remo Stars U19 5-3 Broad City FC.
“We’ve been winning games recently, but today we had a very bad game honestly,” said Bamidele Olusanya, Managing Director of Broad City FC in an interview with Sports247.
“For my boys, the more games, the more experienced, is the time outside Lagos. We as a team need better exposure, there are teams with good structures within the country. We can do better and we’re working towards it,” he added.
The Managing Director also made it known that the team will be participating in a scouting program in two days’ time after which they continue their preparations for the Surulere Regional League starting soon.
“We’re not coming to joke, that’s why we’ve decided to be playing these tough games. I believe we will come out good as these games will be an eye-opener and my boys will come out good,” he concluded.
