Ahead of the 800m finals which is set to come up later today, Agape Elisha is ready to add to Ogun State’s gold laurels in the 7th National Youth Games which is currently going on in Asaba, Delta State.

Following a top finish yesterday in the 800m category for the sprinter where she finished first, Agape is hoping that she will be able to repeat such a feat today as she aims for gold.
“As a team and as an individual, it has been a good outing for us and this edition is awesome, I ran yesterday and I came first, that’s a big achievement for me and the state and I’m hoping to do more today in the finals by winning Gold”.

“Whenever I watch the game on television, I’m always inspired to do more, represent my state, and do more for Nigeria on the global stage someday,” she added.
“Right now, I have a focus which is the final, with God’s help, I want to win gold not just as a personal achievement but for the state”, Agape Elisha concluded.
