Members of the Nigeria Football Federation has described the level of football organisation in Kwara following a trip to Ilorin over the weekend.
Led by NFF Chairman of Chairmen, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, the delegation also included Chairman Technical, Yusuf Ahmed Fresh, Alhaji Rabiu Sharif (Chairman Referee) and Mohammed Alkali (Chairman, NLO) all discussed the development of football in Kwara and how NFF can assist member associations in alligning with best practices as well as International standard.
The Executive members, expressed delightment to see the progress the state FA led by Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi has been making at different levels since assuming the mantle of leadership while discussing the solid steps taken by the FA to consistently improve football in the State.
Talks was also centered about the importance of Football Association’s and critical stakeholders working together, in a spirit of cooperation and solidarity for the benefit of development.
Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi in his reaction, commended the NFF delegate for their committments, sheer dexerity and cooperation in assisting his led FA in tackling peculiar issues to scientifically harness the development of football while pledging his full support to the Amaju Pinnick led NFF.
The Contingent, accompanied by members of the state FA and other stakeholders including Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka (Executive Secretary Club Owners Association), Dr. Steve Olarinoye (Director General, Kwara State Sports Commission), Bola Mogaji (Chairman, Kwara State Sport Commission), Coach Tunde Kazeem (CEO Kazolink Sports Ltd), Bashir Badawir (General Manager, Kwara Utd) amongst others were all honoured with a commemorative medal at the final of a six-aside female football competition organised by Chief Mrs Olaoye Abimbola (Member, Kwara FA Women Football Development committee) and the final of AMAPRO Football championship put together by FIFA Certified Administrator, Shogo Shodunke.
