President of Nigeria Shooting Federation (NSF), Brigadier General Lonsdale Adeoye has revealed to Sports247.ng that there are enough shooting rounds available to athletes that will last for years without asking for assistance from any external help.
“We have steadied the ship at the Shooting Federation. We have enough shooting rounds to help our athletes showcase their talents and perform in events,” Adeoye exclusively informed Sports247.ng.
“The facilities we have one ground can last our athletes for many years. We aren’t short of tools to put the actors of the game in shape in order to compete favourably at international competitions.”
The federation before now have had issues of providing rounds of ammunition for its athletes in major tournaments.
Brigadier General Lonsdale Adeoye affirmed that the situation has changed following the assistance from the armed forces.
“In the past, the Federation had issues with getting the needed ammunitions for events. The Armed Forces have been helpful in assisting us do the needful.
“We are very grateful to them for the help rendered to us,” he added.
