The third edition of the Governor Douye Diri International scouting program, in collaboration with SPOCS Sporting Consultants, Germany, and Red Sapphire Ltd Abuja, has been scheduled for next week Monday.
The event which is bent on ensuring more talents are selected by International scouts for playing careers abroad, is billed to commence next week at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, Yenagoa Bayelsa State Nigeria 🇳🇬
Football clubs and Academies have also been invited outside Bayelsa to participate in the scouting event: Jobi FC of Imo State, Boma Kings FC of Rivers State, Weeks Jackson of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Brighter Sports FC of Gbaramatu, Excellent Football Academy of Delta State, and Dynamo Academica FC of Edo State.
The International football scouts that will visit the state include Moukoko Borel – Germany, Lockhart .G. Geoffrey – Northern Ireland, Gultekin Ersin – Austria, Payeer Helge – Austria, Cattenoy Cedric – France, and Vjetrovic Marko – Serbia.

A statement from the media department, eulogized the State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, and the Sports Development Commissioner, Hon. Daniel Igali, for their undiluted commitment to empowering the youths of the state and to the growth of football and sports in general.
The statement said that with more teams showing interest in coming to Bayelsa to participate in such events, the state will continue to have its pride of place in the committee of states in grassroots football development.
