The NFF 78th AGA/Elective Congress saw the birth of a new leadership for the Nigeria Football Federation across all its levels from presidency to Executive Committee, one which boss of 36Lion FC called his plan B Sports247 reports.
Olawale Gafar Liameed of 36Lion FC, contested for a place on the NFF Executive Committee from the South-west and scored 6 votes, taking the election into a runoff with three others, Sunday Dele Ajayi, Afolabi Taiwo Olugbenga and Ganiyu Majekodunmi with Sunday and Majekodunmi winning the two seat available from the zone.
“Congratulations to President Ibrahim Gusau and the new NFF Executive Committee,” he said.
“This election is another good experience for me. Football is a wonderful adventure, you just can’t have enough of it at every level,” Gafar added.
The Lagos-based side boss made it clear that he will continue to fight to get what he wants to achieve in the administrative aspect of the country’s football after this plan B of his didn’t work out.
“The mileage is still not anough for me to clinch what I desire administratively in football but the struggle continues.”
“It was a plan ‘B’ and it didn’t work so we move,” he concluded.
